ENGLISH COURSES

The emphasis of the courses is on conversation (Natural Method) and courses are divided into 12 modules. Each module is structured with 40 class hours (groups of 3 to 4 students) or 24 class hours (private lessons). The class has 60 minutes.

We use the best textbooks. We also use various support materials (books, newspapers and magazines).

There is the option of directing the study toward a specific area, be it professional, academic or personal.

Our curriculum follows the standard established by the European Council (The Common European Framework). The modules are divided as follows:

Description of reference levels of the Council of Europe

  • A1 Able to understand familiar and everyday expressions. Ability to formulate questions and express oneself in a simple way.
  • A2 Able to simply understand expressions and usual mutually related phrases (e.g., family, study, work, television, politics, leisure, culture, society, vehicles, tourism and environment).
  • B1 Able to understand the main points of a dialog if the linguistic standard studied is used. Able to participate in a debate and express opinions. Able to describe experiences, hopes, plans, dreams and goals.
  • B2 Able to understand the main points of complex texts (concrete and abstract topics). Able to argue, to converse fluently and be aware of own mistakes. Able to express oneself in a detailed manner on a broad spectrum of topics and give an opinion on a current issue.
  • C1 Able to understand a large quantity of long and complex texts, as well as their implicit meanings. Able to express oneself in great detail on extremely complex issues. Ability to use the language in social and professional spheres.
  • C2 Effortlessly able to understand everything heard or read. Characterized by accuracy and fluency in all areas.
